A short ecology/creature background . And don’t be shy, let me know what you think of it .
February. Out in the fields to the east of Boroughs town (the worker‘s camp), a mild rain storm slowly blows past the bush land. Lightly falling rain sprinkles from the lingering dark gray islands of water vapor, the sound of loud thunder rolls off in the distance towards the town in the west. A cunning hunter stalks amongst the fringe of a shallow mixed woodland. Broad leafed trees and pines overlook the fields of brush and tall grasses to the east. A lean, toothy snout, peeks out from behind a stand of knee high grass by the trunk of a White Pine, nostrils flaring as the creature gathers information on the status of the bedraggled environment. It then retracts into the cover of the grass, concealing itself and walking carefully towards a small muddy pound in a small clearing seconded by long grass. The wary predator halts, as a bright chary Redskimmer (the dragonfly Rhodopygia hinei) abruptly flies over to the small opening and lands by the pound for a quick drink. Soon a small wandering Rusty Millipede (the millipede Trigoniulus corallinus) comes into view, making its way to the rain water pound as well. Stocks of drenched green sway outwards as the stalker finally pounces out to attempt snatching the Redskimmer. A three foot long Dinosauromorph covered in proto-feathers and osteoderms known as, Lewisuchus admixtus, leaps out with it’s mouth agape and it’s five fingered hands out stretched. The shocked Redskimmer franticly flutters up, barley lifting itself off the mud and swiftly maneuvering around the Lewisuchus’ snapping jaws and swiping paws, escaping upwards into the gloomy overcast from the grassy clearing. While the damp hunter watches its prey fly away, it suddenly turns to face the now startled Rusty Millipede, as it begins to roll into a spiraling exoskeletal disk. Approaching the frightened invertebrate with grisly intent, the straight limbed quadruped gallops forwards, suddenly stopping in surprise, as the four foot long fanged Ornithischian, Heterodontosaurus tucki, seizes the Rusty Millipede with its own five digit forelimbs. Short proto-feathers and dorsal quills sharply raised in protest to its opposition, the primitive Ornithischian lets out a sharp hiss whilst the frustrated Lewisuchus barks loudly, standing on its long legs to swipe with it’s clawed paws at the opportunistic omnivore‘s face. In retaliation, the Heterodontosaurus snaps at the fuzzy croc, then yawns to wield its interlocking fangs for a possible lunge. The ravenous Dinosauromorph inflates its small wattle, clacks its long jaws together and flexes its fuzzy arms in a kind of flapping motion. Eventually the fanged marauder has had enough and yields, dropping the many legged morsel to the damp earth and fleeing into the tall grass. Victorious, the carnivore takes it’s new prize and disappears back into the dense vegetation, crunching on the snack as it heads off into the woods.

Better Late Then Never!
I've been on dA over 12 years now and I'm not leaving yet. However, preserving the old interface over Eclipse would be really nice. So, I'm doing my part to spread this link to try and make a difference before its too late.

A Wee Update, With Big Implications.
:bulletgreen:Okay so, for the longest time now the Featured folder was the only folder any member could submit artwork to, and while I originally made it that way to keep the group fairly organized. But now, everyone is free to submit their artwork to their rightful folders :la:.
Of course, there are rules to keep in mind and these are a few examples:

"Peter, if you want me to run your little camping trip, there are two conditions: first, I'm in charge, and when I'm not around, Dieter is. All you have to do is sign the checks, tell us we're doing a good job, and open your case of scotch when we have a good day. Second condition: my fee? You can keep it. All I want in return for my services is the right to hunt one of the tyrannosaurs. A male, a buck only. How and when is my business. Now if you don't like either of those conditions, you're on your own. So go ahead, set up base camp right here, or in a swamp, or in the middle of a Rex nest for all I care. But I've been on too many safaris w

So I had some time to gather some pride month themed things together before the group anniversary coming up soon on the 4th of Juley. It may not be too much contact, but I hope you all enjoy ~rainbowplz (https://www.deviantart.com/rainbowplz):happybounce:!
